Performing life and materials science experiments at the European Spallation Source (ESS) only works if the data from the neutrons scattering experiments is properly captured, stored and made available to scientists for analysis. Those scientific computing challenges were discussed on the 31 March at the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) in Switzerland, in the occasion of the kick-off meeting of BrightnESS WP5.3.
