Workshop on IKC Best Practice - Bilbao
The First workshop on "Engineering aspects of large-scale In-Kind projects" took place in Bilbao on 14-15 November 2016.
Co-organized by BrightnESS, ESS Bilbao and Elettra Sincrotrone (Trieste, Italy), the workshop was dedicated to the engineering requirements and constraints of in-kind contributions to large-scale research infrastructure projects, such as ESS. The aim of the event was to share experience and propose improvements to the engineering practices when working on IKC. The two-day event consisted of a plenary morning session with speakers from large-scale projects, followed by three half-day sessions covering the topics of Standardisation, Integration and Project Information Management.
