On 20-21 April, the Roland Eötvös Physical Society, with the support of the Centre for Energy Research and Wigner Research Centre for Physics, held its fourth physics and science promotion event, Physics for Everyone 4.0.
BrightnESS Partner DTI is working on a project to get more industry users to analyse their materials through synchrotrons and neutron sources. A study group recently visited ESS and MAX IV, to share experiences in working with industry.

The 25th BNC User Meeting was held in Budapest at 10th of November 2017. The participants who attended the meeting came from both EU and non-EU countries.

In order to make informed decisions about its industry-related policies and services, ESS organised a Workshop on Best Practice for Industry Access to Neutrons.
