Budapest Neutron Centre co-hosts biology symposium
The event was attended by 45 scientists from various institutions in Hungary interested in structural biology and/or application of neutron scattering to life sciences. The meeting was opened and introduced by Prof. Ferenc Nagy, director general of BRC, as well as by Prof. László Zimányi, director of the Biophysics Institute at BRC. Neutron research possibilities and facilities were introduced as a tool for biological applications. Also, ESS and in particular, the NMX instrument were presented as well as many examples of neutron application results.
