Carlo Bocchetta - WP2

Carlo Bocchetta is the Work Package leader of BrightnESS WP2.

- The main objectives for WP2 have been to maximise the possibility for ESS and In-kind partner organisations to deliver value during the Construction Phase through In-Kind Contributions according to the ESS IKC Process as well as to minimise and mitigate the risks associated with those contributions.

The risk mitigation activities have been assisted by Regional Hub Field Coordinators who have worked on addressing risks and risk mitigation of IK processes and taken part in addressing quality, standards and best practices between partners. Several workshops and training sessions have been held, to create a strong Field Coordinator network.

A lot of the work in WP2 has also focused on maximising the common knowledge of how to best execute IKC activities, through initiatives like a best practice section on the BrightnESS website and by working to establish standard approaches to technical implementations at ESS.
