Visit from VINNOVA and IUC Syd

On 27-28 April 2017, European Spallation Source hosted Natasa Pahlm, Industrial Liaison Officer of the Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems (VINNOVA), and Anna Hall, Vice President and Program Manager for Industry Cluster at IUC Syd. Both institutes aim to support the development of a competitive environment in the innovation ecosystem of ESS.

The two-day visit included meetings with representatives from various departments of the ESS Organization, who shared detailed information about ESS procurement rules, industrial opportunities, and selected technical aspects of the ESS project. One of the sessions focused on outreach activities in Host Country Sweden. Natasa Pahlm and Anna Hall also had the opportunity to visit the ESS construction site and see progress of civil works on one of the largest science and technology infrastructure projects being built in Europe today.
