LINX Annual Meeting held in Copenhagen
On Friday 19 May, the Annual Meeting of the Linking Industry to Neutrons and X-rays (LINX) project took place in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The LINX project brings together Danish companies, universities and the European Big Science facilities. The goal of LINX is to ensure that Danish industry takes optimal advantage of the coming large-scale facilities ESS and MAX IV, as well as the European XFEL in Hamburg.
The Annual Meeting began with an invited talk by Prof. Robert Feidenhans’l, Chairman of the Management Board at European XFEL. The programme also included presentations by Lise Arleth from the University of Copenhagen, Jacob Becker from Aarhus University and Carsten Gundlach from the Technical University of Denmark.
BrightnESS partner, the Danish Technological Institute, who also works to promote the use of neutrons and x-rays in industry, also participated in the Annual Meeting.
