Informational meeting with Eötvös Lorand Physical Society in Hungary
On 8 february 2017, BrightnESS representatives from BNC met with the Society for an informative discussion about the ESS and the role of BrightnESS. The Society have welcomed our idea to colloraborate on our interesting fields and partners. The main idea is to create a forum for researchers to meet with representatives of large infrastructures and industrial partners to forge new collaborations, and to provide a state-of-the-art overview of the new possibilities in the field of neutron technologies.
Thanks to the multifaceted connection system and different interests of the Society, Margit Fabian of BNC asked for the Executive Board to be a partner and organizer of the meeting, to help us to bring the parties together. The attitude was positive, - thanks to the present Hungarian support system - they considered it necessary to organize a common interest meeting. Thanks to the crowded first half a year of 2017, it was offered to be organized at the fall of 2017.
