French industry visits ESS

In line with the BrightnESS WP2, the Gallia Hub organised a workshop at ESS to assist engineers from French companies in the achievement of best in-kind practices. In total, 23 participants took part in the event with 12 French companies represented. The three laboratories involved in the French in-kind were also represented by Sébastien Bousson (CNRS-IPN Orsay), Florence Ardellier-Desages (CEA-Irfu) and Sylvain Desert (LLB).

The event started with an overview on the technical status followed with the visit of the ESS construction site. In the evening, each company had the opportunity to present their expertise in an Industrial session with ESS colleagues.
