ESS Data Management and Software Centre Opens in Copenhagen
The European Spallation Source (ESS) celebrated today the official opening of the ESS Data Management and Software Centre (DMSC) permanent offices in Copenhagen. Danish Minister for Higher Education and Science, Ulla Tørnæs, representatives of ESS and of Danish partner institutes attended the ceremony at the Copenhagen Bio Science building, on the North campus of the University of Copenhagen.
Led by Mark Hagen, the DMSC consists of 22 employees, working in collaboration with ICT and Scientific Computing experts in other European research institutes.
BrightnESS supports the DMSC through Work Package 5 ("Real Time Management of ESS data").
