Dutch ESS collaboration promoted at IPAC ‘16
On May 8-13 2016, accelerator scientists, engineers, students and industrial vendors from across the globe gathered at the seventh International Particle Accelerator Conference (IPAC) in Busan, South Korea.
The global conference included an industrial exhibition, which presented opportunities for the participants to learn about existing and future accelerator projects and to present products, services, and publications of interest to the international accelerator community. This included a Dutch Scientific stand, where Toon Verhoeven, the Dutch Industrial Liaison Officer for ESS, promoted the BrightnESS and ESS projects.
More than 1,200 participants, including decision-makers from major international laboratories, universities and companies took part in IPAC ‘16.
IPAC’17 will be hosted by ESS and supported by MAX IV (Sweden) and Aarhus University (Denmark).
