DanScatt Annual meeting held in Odense, Denmark
More than 170 participants gathered on 1-2 June in Odense, Denmark to listen to presentations and view posters sessions of the latest research and development within neutrons and synchrotrons. The focus for the 2017 Annual meeting was the impact of the local research facilities of Denmark - ESS and MAX IV in Lund as well as European X-FEL in Hamburg.
The programme included talks about
- The European XFEL by Robert Feidenhans'l, Chairman of the Management Board at European XFEL
- The DanMAX beamline at MAX IV by Mads Ry Jørgensen, project manager at DANMAX
- The HEIMDAL instrument of ESS by Sonja Holm, Lead Scientist for HEIMDAL from the University of Aarhus
- The LINX project by Erik Brok, Postdoc at the University of Copenhagen
Further, the programme included talks by young scientists within chemistry, biotech and materials science.
