Budapest Neutron Centre hosts NINMACH2017
The conference was a significant event, bringing together 103 participants from 24 countries, who presented their research in oral and/or poster presentations. In addition, keynote speakers gave talks on topics such as imaging, cultural heritage, science and technology for archeology, and neutron imaging methods. Besides the keynote lectures and the invited talks, the conference hosted a diverse range of talks connected to the five main topics, 1. Imaging, 2. Multi-technique approach and complementary methods, 3. PGAA&NAA, 4. Neutron scattering and 5. Facilities, techniques and data processing.
During the conference, extended discussions emphasized the need for a) the high-tech instrumentations, b) the authentic and accurate database and c) the systematic comparisons in national/international, entangled or global approaches.
The organizers of the NINMACH conference aim to give continuity to the discussions started in this conference and to encourage cooperations exp. in frame of different projects, like BNC, IperionCH proposals, or in the near future using the ESS infrastructures.
