BrightnESS informational meeting with Tungsram-Schreder Zrt

Tungsram-Schréder Ltd. is the Hungary’s leading outdoor lighting manufacturer with more than 1.5 million lighting fittings sold since its establishment in 1983. The company’s 91 workers and employees develop and produce, in Piliszentivan near Budapest, both functional and decorative lighting luminaries for public areas and urban spaces. The company’s premises include a modern factory, a large warehouse, a research and development facility and testing laboratory, and administrative offices of altogether 7.800m².

To keep up the high level quality and innovative technologies, the company also focuses on research and development works. Thanks to their current developments in the field of lamp body and various paints they are a suitable company to introduce to the world of neutrons.

Margit Fabian of BNC held a lecture for the company about the neutron methods and the future possibilities in this field. The discussions were fruitful and the company has sceduled beamtime for September at BNC.
