The 9th ILO Meeting held at ESS

The discussions during the meeting focused on the possibilities for national industries in the ESS partner countries to take part in the construction of ESS facilities and components.  The meeting started with an internal "ILO only" session where ILOs discussed further possibilities for improving the cooperation with ESS procurement. The ILOs proposed to establish a dialogue group to follow the implementation of ESS procurement rules in the administrative routines at ESS procurement. The proposal is to establish an informal contact between ESS procurement and the Swedish ILO assisted by a Swiss-Norwegian support team.  The proposal is in good correspondence with the BrightnESS objectives in e.g. Work Package 3, which is, among other areas, occupied with building capacity on Public Procurement of Innovation at ESS.
