After more than 2,5 years of successful implementation, the BrightnESS project has reached its home stretch. Set-up to support one of the largest research infrastructure projects being built in Europe today, BrightnESS has successfully addressed some of the key risk areas faced by the European Spallation Source, such as detector development and in-kind management. The BrightnESS Closing Conference will demonstrate the results achieved by the project and give prominent visibility to the EU support. It will bring together representatives of the 18 project consortium partners, the ESS governance as well as the broader neutron science community.
Objectives of the Conference:
- Show-case the results of the BrightnESS project
- Demonstrate its impact and long-term sustainability effects on ESS, its partner organisations and the wider research community
- Facilitate networking opportunities among partners and stakeholders
