MS10: Identification of one suitable PPI

Activities connected to this milestone are completed. The ESS Integrated Control Systems Division initiated discussions with the Procurement Group during Q4 2016 in order to find a contractual solution, for the supply of Micro Telecommunications Computing Architecture components, which addresses the project needs in terms of product volumes and technical innovations of products meeting the requirements of systems being installed in ESS. The possibility to approach the award of this contract following a Public Procurement of Innovation (PPI) strategy was discussed during the first meetings in Q4 2016. The final decision to proceed with a PPI was formalized during Q1 2017.
