2.2: Launch of IKC Best practice online platform
As part of Work Package 2 (WP2) “Strengthening the in-kind contribution coordination”, one of the main outcomes of the project is to maximize the common knowledge on how to best execute In-kind contribution (IKC) activities among all Partners in the European Spallation Source (ESS) Project.
Task 2.3 concerns the setting-up and maintenance of an online IKC Best Practice Platform (hereafter: BPP) for the BrightnESS project which will allow partners and other stakeholders not only to find and exchange information, but also to benefit from sharing key documents that facilitate both the preparation and the implementation of an in-kind model in European Big Science Projects.
The online Best Practices Platform will be accessible from March 9th via the website of the BrightnESS project. By integrating the BPP into the BrightnESS website, the BrightnESS network will leverage synergies in a more efficient manner in addition to generating further incremental user traffic.
The BPP will evolve and further develop during the project’s lifecycle and extensions will be added based on user feedback. All content is available in English.
