Thrust mini-symposium on palaeontology and cultural heritage
This virtual workshop on palaeontology and cultural heritage will encompass presentations by experienced users of neutron and X-ray facilities to assist in exploring the possibilities of how South African scientists could benefit from access to neutron beamtime at Necsa and iThemba LABS, as well as ESS internationally.
Coordinated by Drs Amélie Beaudet from the University of Cambridge and Wits, the workshop will take place on 18 September 2020 via Zoom between 2:00-4:30pm. It is open to all and accessible via this link. The scene for the discussions will be set with the following presentations:
