Since 1996, the European Conference on Neutron Scattering (ECNS) has been providing a platform for European scientists, experts, and engineers to discuss the latest trends in neutron research and technology. The conference is organised every four years under the patronage of one of BrightnESS² partners – the European Neutron Scattering Association (ENSA) – and attracts hundreds of participants from all over Europe.

The first neutron school focused on CANS facilities kicks-off

A unique three-day programme of lectures focusing on science and instrumentation for compact accelerator-driven neutron sources has kicked-off in Bilbao on Monday, 17 June. Until Wednesday, more than five dozens of students, scientific experts and lecturers will have the opportunity to interact and discuss neutron scattering techniques as a part of the first Bilbao Neutron School.
