Stephanie Chapman
Stephanie Chapman is the Information Manager for the League of advanced European Neutron Sources (LENS) Initiative. She is based at the ISIS Neutron and Muon Facility in the UK, from which she coordinates the communication activities of the LENS consortium.
Although now working in communications, Stephanie has a background in Chemistry, having completed her PhD at the University of Southampton in 2019. During her PhD, Stephanie’s research focussed on the development of porous inorganic catalysts for the sustainable production of polymers. Pursuing her particular interest in materials characterisation, she became a keen user of neutron scattering methods, undertaking several experiments at the ISIS Neutron and Muon Facility. After graduation, she sought to pursue her interest in science and communication, working as Communication and Outreach Project Associate at Instruct-ERIC, the European Research Infrastructure for Structural Biology.
Within BrightnESS², Stephanie will be involved in Work Package 2, D2.10: Common roadmap and implementation strategy for future neutron capability.
