Philip King
Philip is one of the Science Division Heads at the ISIS Neutron & Muon Source in the UK. As well as being responsible for four science groups, he is a member of the ISIS senior management team and is responsible for the facility user programme, communications, and ISIS’ involvement in European projects including BrightnESS². He is co-ordinator of an EU Marie Sklodowska-Curie COFUND award to STFC to employ 36 post-doctoral researchers, and is also Director of the RIKEN-RAL Muon Facility at ISIS, a long-term UK-Japan partnership. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Physics.
Within BrightnESS², Philip will be involved in Work Package 2, particularly the work on European neutron strategy.
