Milos Davidovic
Milos Davidovic has been working at the European Spallation Source (ESS) for more than 4 years now. During this time, Milos has been working in the In-Kind Contributions Management Team (IKCM) supporting the execution of the ESS In-Kind Strategy. Milos has been involved with various activities, ranging from in-kind contracting, stakeholder management, outreach, in-kind performance reporting, and others.
In the past three years Milos has also been involved with the BrightnESS project (2015-2018) as a Nordic-Baltic Field Coordinator. In this role, Milos was tasked with strengthening stakeholder relationships in the region, identifying and mitigating risks related to In-Kind Contributions from Nordic-Baltic In-Kind Partners, as well as tackling any potential challenges that occurred in the said region. Most notably, together with his IKCM colleague, Milos was instrumental in creating a bespoke In-Kind Accounting System (XRM+), which today serves as the principal tool for managing In-Kind Contributions at ESS. The tool was developed with the support of BrightnESS project - in cooperation with Elettra Sincotrone, Italy, one of the BrightnESS partners.
Milos will continue his role in BrightnESS². Together with the WP3 Leader, Mauro Zambelli, Milos will be supporting the evolution of the IKC Model, which is the principle goal of Work Package 3. Leveraging various capabilities In-Kind Collaboration model provides to the European scientific landscape, Milos hopes to create a contemporary, dynamic, and agile working practices that would benefit both ESS and all its partners in the coming years.
