In-Kind Review Committee

The main role of ESS In-Kind Review Committee is to endorse and recommend In-Kind Contributions to ESS Council. Each country participating in the ESS Council shall be represented in the IKRC by one delegate. The IKRC has a mandate to oversee implementation of rules, legal framework of the agreement, as well as the implementation and final accreditation of the In-Kind Contribution itself. The IKRC reviews the work packages proposed for IKC and recommends acceptance or non-acceptance to the ESS Council. The IKRC will also act as a forum of first recourse in the event there is a dispute between an IKC Partner and the ESS Project. Finally, the IKRC will perform a final review of IKC work packages and recommend final acceptance or non-acceptance to the ESS Council.

The IKRC meets 4 times a year. Ad-hoc meetings may be called by the chair if necessary. Voting procedure requires presence of 2/3 of the members. In case of a member being affiliated to topics under discussion, voting will be held in his absence. a
